Hi Franck. Yes, you are correct (for clarity, I would say the "1 slot" rather than the "1 row"...although I know what you mean; you are refering to the diagonal zone that consists of of all "1"s).
In summary:
Any Encounter Add-up that goes over "9" is treated as 9.
Any Encounter Add-up that goes under "1" is treated as 1.
Furthermore:
Any Leader Add-up that goes over "15" is treated as 15.
Any Leader Add-up that goes under "1" is treated as 1.

Been trying to contact the designer via his email on Gamecrafter, but no answer.
In the rule book, it states that there are 5 scenarios to choose from. But it appears there are more than that. What are the 5 scenarios mentioned? Also, how do you choose a scenario when all of them seem to be for only specific levels?
Also, what are all the plastic pawns used for? I don't think they're mentioned one time in the book.
Do the heroes move as a group together? If so, what are the individual hero pawns for?
